Responsibilities

Tasks

• Manage and coordinate staff activities in food preparation, portioning, and serving, while scheduling their shifts.
• Resolve guest complaints and work with the team to prevent future issues, ensuring food and service quality.
• Estimate, procure, and order ingredients and supplies for meals, keeping records of inventory, sales, and waste.
• Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, offering coaching as needed.
• Handle daily cash transactions and prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates.
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, compiling and submitting reports.
• Recruit and hire food service staff familiar with the establishment's culinary specialties.
• Supervise and inspect the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring all procedures are followed.
