Required Baker (NOC 63202):

Job responsibilities are listed below but are not limited to:

• Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as cookies, and bread.
• Designing and improving recipes.
• Responsible for training and supervising baking staff.
• Ensure quality of baked products meets established standards.
• Arranging the display case in an appealing manner.
• Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels.
• Ordering baking supplies.
• Ensuring all baked goods are completed on time.

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a college program in the field of bakery and 1-2 years of experience as a baker or in a related occupation is preferred.
• On-the job training will be provided.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling weight up to 25 lbs.
