Job Description

1974283 Alberta Corp., located at, 10006 Macdonald Ave, Fort McMurray, AB T9H 1S8, is looking for a permanent full-time (30- 40 hours per week) Carpenter.

Job start date: As soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate 

Language: Englis 

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Major Work Area: Construction, Renovation, Maintenance and repair

Duties include

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements 

Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools 

Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials 

Build foundations, install door beams, and erect walls and roof systems 

Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware 

Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishment
