Position: Information Systems Analyst [NOC 21222 – Information systems specialists]

Salary: $87,360.00 annual salary; wage rate: approximately $42.00 per hour for 40hours of work per week

Terms of employment: full-time, permanent

Start date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for information systems projects.
• Evaluate existing information systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Design and implement solutions to address business needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Develop detailed system specifications, including functional and technical requirements, and collaborate with developers and other IT professionals to implement solutions.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure reliability, usability, and scalability.
• Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate the adoption and effective use of information systems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in information systems and make recommendations for their adoption where appropriate.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration and interoperability of information systems with other business systems.

Skills Requirements:

• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

• 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience is required.
