Duties: 

• Installing, removing, repairing, connecting, testing, maintaining, or adjusting equipment and other hardware devices.
• Examine, test, and maintain telecoms equipment to spot faults.
• Splice cables, using hand tools, epoxy, or mechanical equipment.
• Fix or swap out faulty cables, power supplies and other equipment.
• Coordinate the planning and execution of work assignments by speaking with coworkers.
• Maintain or clean test equipment and tools.
• Analyze and record test performance data to assess equipment operation.
• Assist in construction or removal of telecommunication towers or related support structures.
• Operate heavy machinery and excavating equipment.
• ·         Climb and work at heights on poles, ladders or other support structures or perform jobs in cramped areas including crawl spaces, tunnels, and trenches.
