Job position: Maintenance person - building

Job duties:

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
• Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.   
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris.
• Overlook inventory of supplies and equipment and order appliances as per the need.
• Adjust and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
• Complete regular maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repairs.
• Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
• Perform daily safety and security checks and perform minor repairs as requested.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.

 Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
• Experience an asset.
• Work locations will be hotel, motel, resort.
• Requires the ability to read, write, communication in English or french.
• Employment conditions may be Day, Early Morning, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Night, On Call, Overtime, Shift, To be determined, Weekend

Salary & Hours: $21.00 / 30 hour for  hours per week

Vacatio pay: 4%
