RESTAURANT MANAGER (NOC 60030)

Sula Indian Restaurant Ltd. is looking for a Restaurant Manager for a full-time permanent position. Below is the job description for the position. If eligible, please apply.

Job Title: Restaurant Manager

NOC/TEER Unit Group: Restaurant and Food Service Managers (60030)

Term: Full Time, Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $25.00 per Hour

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Language: English

Minimum Education: High School

Completion of a hospitality related program is an asset.

‘Serving It Right’ certification is an asset.

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience working in food service sector, including 6 months of supervisory experience.

Essential Skills: Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Ability to multitask

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Monitor staff performance
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Recruit staff
  • Set staff work schedules
  • Supervise staff
  • Train staff
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Provide customer service
  • Manage events
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Assist in supervising personnel who prepare and serve food
  • Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff
