Commercial Truck Mechanic

Agri-Trans Services Inc is currently seeking a highly motivated Commercial Truck Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and vehicle repairs in accordance with dealer and manufacturer specifications.

Agri-Trans Services Inc offers a full-service workshop that is Peterbilt warranty approved.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, diagnostic tests, troubleshooting and general vehicle repair

• Perform preventative maintenance services and maintenance related work as required

• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment

• Work in compliance with Company Health & Safety Policies, and OSHA standards

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years related experience

• Red Seal certification or ability to obtain Red Seal an asset

• Experience with Peterbilt and/or Cummins an asset

• The ability to lift and manage up to 50 pounds without assistance

• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Salary: We offer a range from $35.00 to $50.00 / hour based on qualifications 

Bonus: Potential bonus of 15% of annual salary at employer’s discretion.

Job Type: Full-time permanent, we guarantee a minimum of 32 hours per week 

Language: At least intermediate English proficiency is required.
