Essential Skills: Tight deadlines, large workload, handling heavy loads, overtime required, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, physically demanding, ability to supervise 1 to 2 people                      

Duties:

• Installation of drywall sheet on walls and ceilings the by measuring, cutting them.
• Put and secure sheets to cover metal or wooden studs or beams.
• Fill out joints, nail holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife.
• Apply Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound.
• Cut and set up metal beads in corners appropriately.
• Apply the coats of compound to the drywall sheets and take out the excess material for a smooth look.
• Apply additional coats of compound and sand seams and joints for finished look.
• Assemble and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
• ·         Supervise and train helpers.
