We are currently searching for an experienced Carpenter Supervisor.

Work Location:

Various locations in the GTA

Duties:

• Prepare production and other reports
• Recommend measures to improve productivity
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Prepare bids
• Estimate costs and materials
• Operate CADD and other computer software systems
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Requisition materials and supplies

You will be required to train apprentices.

Supervision:

11-15 people

Work Setting:

Commercial, Industrial and Institutional and Independently owned business

Own Tools/Equipment:

Safety glasses/goggles, safety vest, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, large workload, physically demanding, standing for extended periods.

Terms of Employment:

Permanent Position/40 hours per week

Hours of Work:

From Monday to Friday 

The shift is from 7 am to 3 pm

Language of work:

English

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of work experience with carpentry supervision  

Salary:

From $ 31.00 to $34.00 per hour
