Job Description

Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Location: Pitt Meadows, BC
Salary: $20.00/hour
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP
Vacancies: 1

Requirements:

  • Language: English
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Credentials: First Aid Certificate
  • Work Setting: Child care centre, Kindergarten, Before/After school programs

Responsibilities:

  • Assess children's development and prepare tailored learning plans
  • Assist in implementing child-care programs
  • Maintain daycare equipment and records
  • Lead activities and engage children through stories, songs, and crafts
  • Observe children for potential learning/behavioral issues
  • Collaborate with co-workers and community service providers
