At Singh Communication (DBA: Friends Communication) we strive to provide our clients with the latest and greatest technology and services for the best value. We are looking for two knowledgeable, passionate, hard working and honest Electronic Service Technician for our store situated in Surrey BC.

Position: Electronic Service Technician

Vacancy: 2

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time 40 hr / week

Wage: $30.50 / hour for 40 hours per week

Language Preference: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma of 1 to 2 years.

Experience: 2 to 3 years in same or related field.

Start date: As soon as possible

Location: #337, 8140 128 St, Surrey, BC V3W 1R1

Electronic Service Technician will have to perform all of these duties:

• Install, maintain and repair electronic equipment: security cameras, recorders, receivers, audio & video systems, computers, photocopier and peripherals
• Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies
• Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults
• Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies
• Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
• Order parts as needed to make repairs and improve the performance of various electronics.
• Determines material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair; takes appropriate action to meet those needs and makes repairs.
• Prepare cost estimates
• Read blueprints and drawings.

• Manages and installs cables and wiring, splicing as needed.

Experience & Specialization: Alarm/ Security system, Computers and peripherals, Office audio equipment, video cameras and projectors, Stereo equipment. 

Area of Specialization:

• Cameras
• Electronics.

Computer and technology Knowledge: MS Word, Networking, Wireless networks, Wireless router.
