Downtown Village is currently looking for a food service supervisor

Job details
• Location: Halifax, NS B3L 1A4
• Workplace: On site
• Salary: 25.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per Week
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Start date: Starts as soon as possible
• Vacancies: 1 vacancy

Overview
• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely
• Supervision: 5-10 people

Responsibilities & Tasks
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare and submit reports
• Supervise and check assembly of trays
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules
