General Labourer

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Splitting large boulders into usable landscaping materials, such as flagstone for patios, steps, and other masonry applications, using a hammer and bolster.

• Stacking, piling, and wrapping the finished stone onto wooden pallets to prepare them for shipment.

• Using a propane and oxygen torch to apply a flame finish to saw-cut surfaces.

• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in all work areas and the yard to ensure a safe work environment, free of debris.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 1 year experience working in a stone quarry or mining environment 

• High school diploma or certificated training in a similar field is an asset

Salary: We offer a salary range of $23.00 - $24.00 per hour.

Bonus: Potential bonus of up to 15% of annual salary, at the discretion of the employer.

Job Type: Full-time permanent, we guarantee a minimum of 32 hours per week

Language: At least intermediate oral English is required. 

Job Location: Huntsville, Ontario.
