Handyman/woman

 

  • Location: 7175 Tomken RoadMississauga, ON L5S 1P3, Canada.
  • Workplace information: On site
  • Wages: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour (To be negotiated).
  • Working hours: 30 to 40 hours per Week.
  • Terms of employment: Permanent employment/ Full time
  • Work conditions: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, On Call, Shift, To be determined, Weekend.
  • Start date: Starts as soon as possible
  • Vacancies: 2

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities: 

  1. Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
  2. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
  3. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
  4. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
  5. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  6. Perform minor repairs on appliances
  7. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
  8. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
  9. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
