1 to 2 years

Essential Skills:

Attention to detail, problem solving, working with others, people management, positive attitude, time management and organization skills.

Duties: 

• Supervise and co-ordinate the work of cleaning staff.
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met.
• Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
• Maintain 100% commitment to a safe environment and positive customer experience.
• Hire and train cleaning staff.
• Co-ordinate activities with those of other departments and schedule cleaning assignments for optimum efficiency.
• Establish, implement and optimize cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• Prepare budget, estimate costs and keep financial records.
• Assist cleaners in performing duties, may need to perform some light maintenance work.
