                 Secondary: Vin Room - West/as needed -8561 8A Ave SW, Calgary, Alberta, T3H 0V5

Salary:                  36,000  Annual

Hours worked per week:    36

Overtime:           to be paid in keeping with provincial employment standards

Education Requirements:            Private Chef Certificate/Cook's certification

Language Requirements:             English

Experience:       4+ years of experience 

Terms of Employment: permanent/full time

Start date:          ASAP

JOB DUTIES:

• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
• Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers
• Create new recipes
• Instruct cooks on preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
• Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

Shift Work Schedule, candidates are required to be available to work a flexible, irregular schedule and weekends.  

Compensation: Please note that the wage will be subject to the prevailing wage in the AB for NOC 62200 at the time of hiring
