Required Truck and Coach Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE LISTED BELOW:

• Conduct maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial trucks, coaches, and related equipment using hand and power tools.
• Perform engine overhauls, tune-ups, and general mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, clutches, front and rear axles, differentials, drivetrains, steering, suspension, and air brake systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance checks.
• Complete road tests and provide on-site or road service repairs when required.
• Operate vehicles to move them in and out of the shop.
• Maintain accurate electronic service records in accordance with company standards and Ministry of Transportation requirements.
• Liaise with parts suppliers regarding procurement and availability.
• Ensure all work complies with occupational health and safety regulations.
• May provide guidance and training to apprentices or junior technicians.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Criteria

Education: Secondary school

Work Experience: 1-7 months of work experience

Licence: Trade certification for Truck and Coach Technician from Skilled trades Ontario

Language: English

Salary: CAD$ 37.00/hour. Full-time permanent position
