Job Description

Wages: 30.50 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per Week
Permanent employment: Full-time

Education: College or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience. 
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts
  • Wind, assemble and install various types of coils
  • Perform some machining to recondition or modify shafts, commutators or other parts
  • Perform on-site servicing and repair
  • Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear
  • Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance

On-site:  Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
