Bhinder Masonry, located in Surrey, BC is looking for Brick and Stone Mason to join our team. We provide services for residential and commercial projects.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $37.40 per hour

Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations:  Surrey, BC, and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Position duties:

• Read plans and blueprints to calculate materials required.
• Cut, shape, and trim bricks, blocks, and stones to precise measurements using hand and power tools.
• Prepare, position, and lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone,  and related materials to build or repair walls, foundations, and other structures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Build chimneys and fireplaces for residential or commercial buildings using bricks or other masonry units.
• Install bricks, stone, or similar materials to create decorative veneer finishes on walls or other surfaces.
• Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.

Position requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program in the relevant trade OR three years of work experience in the trade is required.
• English communication skills are required.
