Salary: $36.60 per hour

Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations: Various locations in Surrey (BC) and other areas of Lower Mainland & Fraser Valley (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.                         

Position duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Finish surfaces of woodwork in houses and buildings, using hand tools and paneling.
• Work on new projects remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
• Build foundations, install floor beams and subflooring, build walls, and install partitions.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
• Supervise other construction workers.

Position requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School
• Completion of an apprenticeship program in a relevant trade or Minimum 3 years of experience in the trade is required.
• Ability to communicate in English
