Job Duties:

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations of a restaurant
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Conduct performance reviews
Enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations
Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Cost food and services for special events
Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering and use of facilities for events
Participate in, and coordinate with, marketing plans and implementation
Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
Listen to, and resolve, customer complaints
Assist in recruiting staff and overseeing staff training
