Job type: Permanent Full time, 35 hours per week

Location: 230 Wanless Dr Unit-1, Brampton, ON, Canada, L7A 0X1

Education required: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience required: 7 months to less than 1 year

Language required:English

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

The job title of the employee will be Pharmacy Technical Assistant. The job duties will be the following:

• Assist in preparing and combining raw active ingredients.
• Follow compounding worksheets and formulation records.
• Support pharmacists and staff in the preparation, packaging, and labeling of medications.
• Review prescriptions to ensure they are complete and accurate.
• Input client information and prescription data into computer systems.
• Maintain sterile technique, and work with accuracy to avoid dosing errors.
• Prepare compounded medications such as oral solutions, ointments, and creams.
• Help manage and monitor inventory of drugs and pharmaceutical supplies.
• Handle processing of medical billing records.
• Assist with pricing products and stocking shelves.
