Hours: 30–35 hours per week
Salary: $20.00–$22.00 per hour (Negotiable)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Child Caregiver to provide quality care within a private home setting. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children while supporting daily routines and household tasks related to childcare.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for infants and children

• Bathe, dress, and feed children

• Change diapers and assist with toilet training as needed

• Prepare formulas and sterilize bottles

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

• Organize activities such as games, outings, and educational play

• Prepare children for rest periods

• Tend to the emotional well-being of children

• Keep daily records of activities and health information

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

• Travel with the family when required and provide assistance during trips

Work Setting & Environment

• Employer’s private home

• On-site work only (no remote options)

• Non-smoking environment

Requirements

• Language: English

• Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate

• Experience: Experience an asset 

• Certificates: Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR
