Regal ExteriorLtd. located in Surrey, BC is currently hiring 2 full-time “Carpenters” to join their growing team, who will be required to work at various locations in the Lower Mainland areas of BC.

Salary: $36.60 per hour

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible

Work Location: Surrey, BC, and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Position Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Finish surfaces of woodwork in houses and buildings, using hand tools and paneling.
• Work on new projects remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
• Build foundations, install floor beams and subflooring, build walls, and install partitions.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
• Supervise other construction workers.

Job requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program in relevant trade OR minimum 3 years of work experience in the Carpentry trade.
• Ability to communicate in English.

• Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions to cover moving expenses will be provided up to $1000.00 for qualified candidates
