Hours:                                              35-40/week

Salary:                                             $27.00/hour

Overtime:                                        $40.50/hr -  As per BC Provincial Standards

Observed Holidays:                       As outlined on labour.gov.bc.ca – 10 holidays/yr

Education:                                       None Required

Experience:                                    None. Training will be provided on site.

 

Relocation bonus of $1000 will be paid after 30 days of probationary period

Duties

  • Measure, mark, and prepare installation areas according to layout specifications.
  • Transport, position, and secure cabinets, vanities, and countertops using hand and power tools.
  • Fit, align, and fasten doors, drawers, panels, and hardware such as hinges, knobs, and handles.
  • Verify proper alignment, spacing, and finish of installed units.
  • Cut, trim, or modify materials on site to achieve accurate fitting and finishing.
  • Install decorative moldings, fillers, and finishing strips as required.
  • Use drills, saws, levels, measuring tapes, and fastening tools safely and efficiently.
  • Read and follow simple plans, drawings, or verbal directions to complete installations.
  • Inspect completed work for quality, functionality, and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition and ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
  • Comply with workplace safety policies and company procedures on all job sites.
