Salary: $38.00 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per week

Job Responsibilities
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts
Area of specialization: Forklift
Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence

Tasks

• Repair and service of lift trucks
• Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in lift truck repair
• Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
• Adjust, repair, or replace mechanical and electrical system parts, and diagnose and isolate faults on engines.
• Repair and rebuild hoisting mechanism and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts
• Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records, including inspections and test made on engines
• Estimate repair costs for work to be done and read blueprints to determine work requirements.
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor as needed
• Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
• Employee will always follow all safety rules and work in a safe manner
