We are currently looking to hire a Nanny for our children. The ideal candidate should be compassionate, fun-loving, caring, trustworthy, and calm, with excellent communication skills.

Position Details:

Number of positions: 1

Salary: $20.50 per hour 

Start date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time; year-round work.

Work Setting: Private home located in Surrey, BC.

Work Location: Surrey, BC V3S 8Z3 (Intersection of 148 Street & 76 Avenue, Surrey, East Newton)

Job duties:

• Supervise and care for children during the parents’ absence to ensure their safety, well-being, and emotional comfort.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children and handle housekeeping tasks associated with the children’s daily activities.
• Encourage and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Provide support to children with homework, school assignments, and learning activities.
• Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, including games, crafts, reading sessions etc.
• Accompany children to parks, and medical or other appointments when required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized home environment for children.
• Follow parents’ guidance regarding child discipline, routines, schedules, and household expectations.

Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary school.
• At least 6 months of relevant work experience or completion of the training program in childcare or a related field.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Ability to work without supervision.
