Business Development Officer
Location: Medicine Hat, AB (On-site)
Salary: $52.00 per hour
Schedule: 35 hours per week | Full-time | Permanent | Morning/Day Shifts

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Plan, develop, and implement business strategies and development projects

• Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to inform strategic direction

• Promote industrial and commercial investments in both urban and rural areas

• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and proposals

• Provide consulting services to government and business organizations

• Evaluate business development proposals and licensing requirements

• Oversee marketing initiatives and develop promotional materials

• Respond to inquiries from the business community regarding opportunities and partnerships

• Supervise a team of 5–10 staff, including professionals, support staff, or students

Qualifications & Skills:

• College or CEGEP diploma (1–2 years) in business, economics, marketing, or related field

• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Demonstrated initiative, integrity, and professionalism

• Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Work Location:
This is an in-person role based at our Medicine Hat office (T1A 3L7). There is no remote work option available.
