Canko Group Hotel Management Ltd. o/a Super 8 Abbotsford are looking for 2 Full-time and Permanent Housekeeping Managers. (We can consider Part-time as well as Full-time applicants).

Position: Housekeeping Manager

Position Available: 2

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Work location: 1881 Sumas Way, Abbotsford, BC V2S 4L5

Work Setting: Hotel

Salary & Benefit: $24.17/hr based on 30-36 hr/wk with a 4% paid vacation

Overtime: Overtime will be provided after 8 hrs/day, or 40 hrs/wk

Language: English

Education: Completion of secondary school

Experience: At least 1 ~ 2 years of related working or a supervisor experience

Job duties:

- Establish and implement operational procedures for the housekeeping department

- Plan and co-ordinate the activities of housekeeping staffs

- Inspect assigned areas to ensure the work meet motel policies and standards

- Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery

- Maintain inventory and select and purchase equipment

- Hire, train and manage a motivated and housekeeping staffs

- Maintain documentational prepare reports for management information and annual housekeeping budget

- Monitor the quality of employee performance and participate in the evaluation, coaching and discipline of employees, when necessary

- Prepare work schedules of the housekeeping team effectively, in relation to motel occupancy

- May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
