Education:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:

• 1 year to less than 2 years

Work setting:

• On site (no remote work option)

• Work must be completed at the employer’s physical location

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for furniture framing.
• Measure, cut, and assemble wooden and metal frames for sofas and other furniture.
• Operate hand and power tools safely to shape and join materials.
• Ensure proper alignment and structural integrity of furniture frames.
• Install reinforcements, supports, and other structural components.
• Inspect finished frames for quality and accuracy before upholstery.
• Repair or replace damaged or defective wooden strnctures as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area for efficient production.
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures to prevent workplace hazards.
• Collaborate with upholsterers and other team members to meet production goals.
