Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to cover walls, ceilings and partitions 
• Prepare surfaces by removing old wallpaper or paint, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing them using appropriate tools 
• Apply tape and joint compound to seams between drywall panels to create a smooth surface 
• Sand and smooth seams, corners, and other surfaces to ensure a seamless appearance 
• Apply caulk or sealant to fill gaps and cracks in walls or ceilings 
• Repair or replace damaged drywall panels as needed 
• Follow blueprints or instructions to ensure accurate installation and finishing
• Position and secure sheets to studs and joints 

Skills Requirement:

• Completion of secondary school is required
• At least 1 year of construction industry experience required 
• Bachelor’s Degree is an asset
