Job Description

Wage:  $55.36 per hour as per Union collective agreement (permanent, full-time position – 40 hrs/week)

 Benefits: As per Union Collective Agreement

 Location of Work: Various locations throughout the Province of Ontario

 

Specific Skills:

-      Supervise construction projects and workers who operate heavy construction and paving equipment

-      Coordinate and schedule activities of workers and training

-      Ensure safety procedures are followed

-      Requisition materials, equipment and supplies

-      Prepare work reports

-      Resolve work problems

-      Ability to supervise a crew of 5-10 people

 

Job Requirements:

  • 1 - 2 years of supervising experience in concrete & drains industry
  • Stress tolerance
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Good understanding of construction methods & safety protocols
  • Attention to detail
