Salary: $36 per hour for 35 - 40 hours per week

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook Japanese and Thai meals and dishes listed on the menu
  • Collaborate with the chefs to review the menu regularly and make recommendations for new items and ingredients
  • Determine cost of food and size of food portion, and monitor the inventory of food
  • Check and monitor the quality of cooked products
  • Oversee kitchen operations and helpers and instruction
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Ensure that food are met quality control standards
  • Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work area and keeping hygiene and safety practices
  • Guide and train line cooks, delegating tasks and helping maintain a positive team environment.
