Tugbang’s Family in Duncan is looking for a reliable and compassionate Homemaker.

Job Title: Homemaker

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time (We can consider Part-time as well as Full-time applicants)

Work Location: (Private Home) Duncan, BC

Wage & benefits: C$22.00 - C$23.00/hr based on 30-40hrs/wk, with 4% paid vacation

Overtime: Overtime rate provided after 8hrs/day, or 40hrs/wk

Education: Completion of Secondary School

Experience: Not required, but is an asset

Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent

Language: English

Job duties:

- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning throughout the house
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation or recreational activities

- Wash and take care of clothes and bed sheets
- Assist with regular exercise, such as accompanying the patient on walks

- Make and cook meals based on dietary needs

- Shop for groceries and household supplies as needed

- Keep the home neat, tidy, and safe
- Support clients with bathing and personal hygiene routines

- Mend and repair clothing and linens
- Help with feeding or assisting during meals

- Offer bedside and personal care as required
