Salary: $35.00 hourly / 30 to 35 hours per Week

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty
Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Work setting: Construction, Various locations, Renovation, Residential
Responsibilities
Tasks
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
• Supervise other workers
• Estimate costs and materials
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, physically demanding
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
