On Hunt Framing Ltd.” a framing construction company located at 27431 32 Ave, Aldergrove, BC – V4W 3J3 is urgently looking for One (01) full-time Carpenter.

Work Location: Various location all over lower mainland depending upon business contracts with business based at 27431 32 Ave, Aldergrove, BC – V4W 3J3

Education & Experience:

Completion of High School education is required.

1-2 Year of experience in related field is required

Language: English

Wage Rate: $37.00/hr.  + 4% Vacation pay.

Hours: 30-35 hours per week

Job Duties:

-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials - Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

- Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware

- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures

- Evaluate structural damage, particularly to frames, prepare repair estimates, and execute necessary repairs.

- Supervise and direct other construction workers to ensure that projects are completed successfully.
