Job Description:

Full time position, must be flexible to cover shifts, some weekends, hours will vary from day, night and evenings. Overtime may be required.

Work Location: Work in employer's/client's home. Accommodation is available at NO Extra Cost if the caregiver wishes to stay in the home; however, this is NOT a condition of employment.

Job Responsibilities:
• Help my parents with daily personal cleanliness, including bathing and grooming.
• Prepare, serve, and feed healthy meals for them.
• Observe for any changes in their behavior or health and report them to the family or doctor.
• Offer emotional support by spending quality time with them.
• Escott my parents to the doctor’s clinic for their visit.
• Accompany my parents for outdoor walks.
• Assisting in activities such as changing bandages, medicines, and taking samples as requested by the nurse at the time of appointment.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free environment for them.
• Manage light cleaning tasks for my parents, such as dusting, cleaning, making the bed, changing linens, doing laundry, and vacuuming.
• Monitor their activities and prepare notes for future reference.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School.
• Previous Experience in the same field is an asset.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Punjabi speaking is an asset but not a requirement.
