Web technician

We are seeking two Web technicians to join our team to start as soon as possible.

$32.00 per hour

2 Full time- permanent, 30 hours per week positions

Key duties:

• Assist with the development, testing, and publication of new web pages and websites. Add or modify text, images, or links.
• Configure domain settings, manage web hosting environments, and troubleshoot server-related issues.
• Customize and maintain content management systems (CMS), ensuring efficient structure, performance, and usability.
• Install and configure third-party tools such as payment gateways, CRMs, analytics services, and implement on-page SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
• Maintain websites to ensure they are up-to-date and performing optimally.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with websites, web servers, and user issues.
• Perform routine safety and quality checks, and maintain records.
• Perform data backups and restore data when necessary.
• Apply software updates and monitor for security threats.
• Work with designers, content creators, or IT staff for web projects.

Requirements:

• Completion of a college diploma program in related field
• 2 years of related work experience
• Language required: English
• Location of work: Ft. St. John, BC
