Salary: $37.00/Hour for 50 to 60 hours per week

Job Description:
• Operate and drive the long-haul trucks in order to transport the freight to and from the designated destination.
• Must follow all the safety procedure required to transport the goods and should ensure that the freight is properly secure.
• Plan the trips and have all the necessary documents.
• Enable to perform pre trip and post trip inspection of the vehicle including the systems, the cargo, tires, brake system and the equipment.
• Can easily navigate the vehicle in any kind of terrain.
• Maintain logbooks and can administer the bills.
• Make records of the cargo, the hours of services, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Is able to communicate through the communication system to the other drivers, dispatchers and customers.
• Is able to do roadside repairs when necessary and can work as a team player.

Education: Completion of Secondary school is required
Experience: No experience required.
Job Requirements: Driver’s License (Class AZ), Air Brake Endorsement.
Effective communication skills, knowledge of first aid is an asset.
Candidate should be willing to work all shifts.
