Job Description:

• Study blueprints and diagrams to determine the method of installation and tool requirements.
• Assembles and installs metal framing and ceiling grids, and doorways.
• Mark cutting lines on material, using Chalk Line, and pencil.
• Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets using hand tools and portable power tools.
• Sanding, trimming excess compound, rough edges of wallboard.
• Smoothing the rough surfaces by coating them with desired material
• Cut fixtures or border tiles to size, using appropriate tools, and insert them into surrounding frameworks.
• Installs blanket insulation between studs and tacks plastic moisture barrier over insulation.
• Seal joints between ceiling tiles and walls.

Requirements:

• High school education is required.
• Post-secondary education and/ or minimum one year experience in the field.
