Number of Positions: 1

Wage Rate: $37 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay

Work Location: Burnaby, BC V5C 4C8

Job Duties:

• Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services.
• Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased.
• Design specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased.
• Negotiate offers from suppliers.
• Consult with suppliers.
• Review quotations.
• Determine contract terms and conditions.
• Establish delivery schedules.
• Observe the progress of delivery schedules.
• Communicate with clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
• Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization.

Requirements:

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and attention to detail.

Fluent in English
