Welder – Pride Group Logistics
Location: 6050 Dixie Road, Mississauga, ON L5T 1A6
Work Location: On-site

Salary: $65,520 – $68,000 annually (Negotiable)
Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Shifts: Early morning, Morning, Evening, Night, Shift, On-call, Weekend, Overtime (as required)

Overview:
Pride Group Logistics is seeking skilled Welders to join our team. The role is on-site and requires hands-on experience with welding and metal fabrication.

Responsibilities:

• Welds and fabricates metal components for trucks, trailers, and transportation equipment.
• Performs MIG, TIG, and arc welding to repair structural and mechanical parts.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.
• Inspects welded joints to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Repairs damaged frames, brackets, ramps, and trailer bodies.
• Performs cutting, grinding, and fitting of metal parts as required.
• Conducts routine maintenance on welding tools, torches, and equipment.
• Collaborates with mechanics and technicians during equipment repairs.
• Ensures all welding work meets transportation safety regulations.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the welding area.

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• 1–2 years of welding experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Criminal record check required
