Responsibilities
Tasks
- Calculate heating and cooling loads
- Design duct systems
- Manufacture and assemble water evacuation systems for buildings
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Select equipment for residential and small commercial construction
- Measure and mark sheet metal according to template
- Prepare tenders and quotations
- Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
- Operate laser cutters
