Job Description

Ms. Mohsen Karamat Naveed is seeking a dedicated Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100) to provide attentive, caring, and responsible support for his child. The ideal candidate will focus on the child’s well-being, physical and social development, and assist parents with childcare and light household duties.

Compensation: $20.00 CAD per hour

Schedule: full time, minimum 30 hours/week - working hours to be determined

Main Duties:

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
• Care for pets
• Bathe, dress, and feed the child
• Discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents
• Instruct the child in personal hygiene and social development
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Organize activities such as games and outings for the child; prepare the child for rest periods
• Supervise and care for the child
• Take the child to appointments
• Tend to the emotional well-being of the child

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 months of relevant experience
• High school diploma
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
