Employment Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role is required.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or specialty pharmacy management is a must.
- Strong knowledge of job evaluation systems, compensation structures, job architecture, and occupational classification frameworks.
- Proven experience developing HR policies, leading HR programs, and driving workforce strategy.
- Expertise in employment legislation, HR best practices, and organizational planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, workforce analytics, and data reporting tools.
Job Duties:
- Plan, organize, and direct the overall HR operations to align with organizational goals.
- Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies, programs, and long-term workforce plans.
- Manage HR departmental activities, priorities, workflows, and resources.
- Advise senior leadership on HR matters, talent development, organizational structure, and risk management.
- Lead workforce planning initiatives and maintain talent pipelines.
- Generate HR metrics, reports, and analytics to support executive decision-making.
- Direct recruitment, staffing, and selection processes to ensure the organization attracts and retains qualified talent.
- Oversee training and development programs to address current and future workforce needs.
- Oversee effective onboarding, orientation, and continuous learning activities.
- Lead initiatives that strengthen employee relations, communication, and organizational engagement.
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, workplace practices, and employment legislation.
- Direct the handling of workplace conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary processes using fair and consistent practices.
- Oversee training and development programs to address current and future workforce needs.
- Oversee workplace health and safety programs and ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Develop and maintain competency frameworks to support training, performance, and career progression.
- Foster a workplace culture focused on safety, well-being, respect, and fairness.
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, workplace practices, and employment legislation.
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment standards and regulations.
- Establish and oversee the classification and rating of all occupations across the entire organization, ensuring role clarity, consistency, and internal equity.
- Lead job evaluation processes, maintain job descriptions, and manage job families and occupational structures.
- Lead the organization’s performance management systems to ensure consistency, fairness, and alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, well-being initiatives, and employee benefits plans.
- Ensure accurate and compliant maintenance of employee, compensation, and performance records.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to recommend competitive pay practices.
- Support organizational development and change-management initiatives.
- Analyze performance results and recommend improvements for organizational effectiveness.
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment standards and regulations.
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure HR practices remain compliant with all applicable laws.
- Implement and maintain data governance practices to ensure confidentiality and integrity.
- Ensure compensation frameworks support transparency, internal equity, and organizational goals.
- Ensure performance outcomes inform compensation recommendations, promotions, and development plans.
- Oversee the effectiveness, accuracy, and security of HR information systems.
