Salary: $45.44/hr for 32.5 hours/week.

311 Auto Repair is a trusted automotive service provider located in Markham, Ontario. We are dedicated to providing high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services to our community. We are currently seeking a professional and organized Automotive Service Manager to lead our service team and ensure efficient daily operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Operational Management:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations of the service department.
• Manage the service desk, including scheduling appointments, generating estimates, and processing work orders.
• Hire, train, and supervise service advisors and automotive technicians; assign duties and prepare work schedules.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring necessary parts and supplies are available for scheduled repairs.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase service sales and dealership profitability.
• Ensure the facility complies with all health, safety, and automotive industry regulations.

Technical Oversight & Quality Control

• Oversee and inspect the quality of specialized automotive services, including auto detailing, car vinyl wrapping, window tinting, and Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation.
• Train technicians on proper application techniques for vinyl wrap and PPF to ensure industry-leading standards.
• Manage inventory for specific detailing supplies, films, and installation tools.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• A university degree or college diploma in Business Administration or a field related to automotive service management is required.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of related experience in automotive service, retail management, or a supervisory role is required.
• Hands-on experience with auto detailing, car vinyl wrapping, window tinting, and PPF installation is preferred.
• Experience with automotive shop management software is an asset.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and personnel management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Driver’s License.
