 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Assist senior mechanic/supervisor in inspecting vehicles and mechanical units to identify faults or malfunctions

  • Discuss inspection findings with the supervisor and assist in deciding whether parts need repair or replacement

  • Help inspect motors and automotive systems while in operation

  • Assist in reviewing work orders and job instructions

  • Support road testing of motor vehicles under supervision

  • Assist in testing automotive systems and components

  • Help adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems as directed

  • Assist in repairing or replacing mechanical units or components

  • Support testing and adjusting repaired systems according to manufacturer specifications

  • Assist in estimating parts and labour required for vehicle maintenance and repairs

  • Help perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, inspections, and basic servicing

  • Assist in testing and adjusting units to meet required specifications

  • Support the supervisor in explaining completed work and future repair needs to customers

  • Help complete service reports and records of work performed

  • Provide basic customer service and maintain a clean and safe work area
