Job Description:

•Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

•Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.

•Inspect kitchens and food service areas.

•Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.

•Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

•Recruit and hire staff.

•Oversee kitchen operations.

 

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Wage: $28.39 hourly for 30 hours per week.

Benefits: 4% of paid vacation.

Qualifications/ Skills/ Requirements

- Education: completion of secondary school.

- Experience: 1-7 months experience in the field.

- Language: Speak English, Read English, Write English
