Job Description

Artisan SakeMaker Inc. is a unique commercial winery that handcrafts award winning, and small batch fresh Japanese wine, Sake. We are looking for a permanent full-time Sake and Japanese food Production Manager at Artisan SakeMaker at Granville Island, Vancouver, BC

Duties:
-Weigh and measure specified ingredients of Sake and Japanese food products according to company’s formulas
-Adjust formulas base on changes in humidity and temperature of weather
- Feel and observes consistency of Sake and Japanese food product throughout operation to control quality and processing time
- Research and improve existing types of Sake and Japanese food products and invent new types of Sake and Japanese food according to client’s requirements
- Direct quality control inspection by perform routine tasting on Sake and Japanese food products
- Plan, organize, direct and control the production operations to efficiently use materials, labour and equipment to meet production targets
- Plan and implement changes to machinery, production systems and methods of work
- Develop production schedules and maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products
- Supervise and train employees in the use of new production techniques and implement new product’s production

Skills and Experiences:
- Completion of secondary school
- College or university completion is preferred
- Several years of experience in food and beverage manufacturing

Language: Communication skills in English

Compensation: $28.85/hourly, 40hours/week,
